Welcome to the site of the EU funded project “Enhancing Lifelong Learning through Modernising the Vocational Education and Training and Adult Education Systems”, implemented by the British Council and its consortium partners – the Lifelong Learning Centre and DVV International, for the beneficiary, Ministry of Education and Science.  

This Lifelong learning (LLL) reform focuses on two segments of education - Vocational Education and Training (VET) and Adult Education (AE), each now offering reformed educational programmes. The reforms are intended to increase the chances for finding employment, by creating a dynamic correlation between the influences of the society and the labour market on one side, and education on the other. The goal is to create flexible and open programmes which compare to those available on an EU level.

Here, the creation of modules plays a crucial role, as now, the students will be able to make more relevant decisions on what they learn and their career pathways. In the end they will gain general knowledge, professional theory and practical skills. In the process both the business community and the social partners are encouraged to take an active part in the planning, as well as the implementation phase, therefore ensuring continual coordination between what they need and what is learned, also securing practical work at their companies.
